I was having a nightmare about fish popping out of a corner of the aquarium and biting me and trying to drag me into the bowl!!! I woke up, screaming “No,no!” So random, but this happens when AF is around! Oh, the joys!

Well, AF or not, I had to drag myself up by the ear. It was my first day at the new job, and the official end to my longest and most epic summer ever!!! It was almost tasking for me to get ready for work, and to actually squeeze myself into the new work clothes I bought about a month ago. I guess all the eating I did in Vegas especially added a pound or two!

The good news is that I only get to work 3 days a week. Less hours and more money! Even I can’t deny my luck! Yes, it is in the bank’s training school, and those 3 days might feel like 10 days at my former desk job, but whatever the case, I’ll live.

It turns out that I was worrying for nothing! Everyone at the new place was super friendly, and the ‘students’ were nothing like the belligerent students I had pictured in my head. I don’t know why I kept on imagining a To Sir, With Love kind of situation when, in fact, the students are adults and current/prospective staff of the bank.

On the long train ride back to my neck of the woods, I found myself soul searching and thinking ahead. I had a 28 day cycle this month so, based on that, and according to the website I was checking on my phone, the date of my next expected ovulation is Sunday, September 28, with my next expected most-fertile period being Thursday, September 25 to Wednesday, October 1.

But here’s the bummer! Javier is away for work between September 24th and 28th! Now that isn’t good. I wonder if I’ll be able to sneak a visit on the 26th?

However, if we’re working with a 29-day cycle, the website has the date of my next expected ovulation as Monday, September 29, and my next expected most-fertile period will probably be Friday, September 26 to Thursday, October 2.

Oh well, I’m sure we’ll work something out!

Pee-in-Cup

Okay, I had just a bit of spotting yesterday and today. I just wonder if a 2 day AF is ok? Not that i am complaining! I’m just wondered? Looking back at all my cycles, AF has only stuck around for two or three days for the whole time i’ve been TTC!!! Hmmmmm!

Anyway, it turns out I will have to travel for work in the next few days or weeks. To Amsterdam, apparently. It sounds glam and all, but I hope it doesn’t disrupt my BD plan. How am I going to pee in my jar when I have to share a room with another lecturer? Also, I am prudish and the lady in question doesn’t appear to be! If only I was getting my own room! Well, it is only for one night, so I should be okay!

I finally figured something out. My plan is to BD on CD8+CD9, as that is when Javier is back home briefly, which should be our practice run for the real deal. Then I’ll do the 5-hour drive after work, (luckily it’s half day on a friday!) to Javier on CD13, and BD CD13 and CD14, which should just about cover things if I ovulate on CD14. Phew!

Javier can drive us back on CD15, and we can BD CD15, 16 and 17 to things if I ovulate on CD16, which I normally do! After which it will be just for fun and exercise!

In other news, Natalia and Folly are still gallivanting all over the world, and Keith is getting more and more pissed by the minute, calling us every night, demanding to know when she’ll be back. Considering she talks to their kids every day, I wonder if it isn’t easier to just ask his children directly, instead of badgering Javier and I. I think he might be pissed because it’s my brother that’s the man in question. Ah well, I didn’t ask him to throw his marriage away. I’ll bet he didn’t think she’d move on so quickly. Well, that’s tough!

Fingers crossed for this cycle!
