 Hey Ladies!!!! I can’t keep calm. On June 5th at 1:58pm I became a mom to beautiful baby girl. I am filled with love and happiness for this day. We thank God for everything.

I did not want to waste time saying thanks to each and every lady on this blog who has supported me, laughed, and comforted me when I was TTC and praying to cross this…[Read more]

  • @oluwakemine @nicole

Hi ladies!!!! Longest time! I’ve been busy relocating from our old tiny apartment in Manhattan and trying to settle into a much needed larger space. I thank God for helping me get this far in pregnancy without any mishaps. Baby is growing just fine. Hubby still has his sanity despite my crazy hormones and baby shopping wahala…[Read more]

  • @oluwakemine

Wow. I will do my best with my mood. I don’t want to be known as an angry preggo lady.

Preparations are underway but I cannot put together the nursery until we move into our new home. Imagine the anxiety with doing everything last minute! We move 6 weeks before the EDD!  Perhaps that is why I’m irritable at the moment.  But there i…[Read more]

  • Hi Ladies –

My husband and I celebrated our graduation to 3rd Trimester last Sunday! We are over the moon. My breast are still giving me problems but I’ve been managing with the good ol’ blow dryer lol. Let me tell you I had my doctor literally laughing out loud about my solution to the problem. It’s honestly the only thing that saves me. Please…[Read more]

  • Hi Ladies –

I pray everyone is fine. Me and baby are moving right along. @nicole I looked for your ointment and did not find one that would do the trick. The only thing that brings me relief these days is direct heat to my breasts. I seriously use my office mate’s hair blow dryer for relief at work lol. As painful as these breasts can be,…[Read more]

  • @nicole @oluwakemine Thanks for your suggestions. My office is actually next door to Duane Reade so I will definitely visit today. I will also buy some breast pads. I’m willing to try anything. I appreciate you ladies.

  • @Nicole @Oluwakemine Hi Ladies!!!!! Longest time   I am well. Thank God. Baby and me are cruising right along. One thing – what can I use for sore nipples during pregnancy? Winter is in full effect and I’m dying every time I step out in the cold. I’ve tried warm compress, nipple covers, the nipple gel covers by Lasinoh, massage, extra l…[Read more]

  • @nicole Hi Dearie!!! Longest time! We thank God for this 2nd Trimester. Things are going well. We learned the sex of our child early and hubby cannot stop smiling. My only issue is my clothes are fitting a bit to snug but I thank God for the growth.  B-)  I have stopped face timing and skyping with my fam in 9ja. My face has changed too much. I a…[Read more]

    Happy Birthday @Oluwakemine  :cake:

May God Bless you and keep you in your new age!!!! Thanks for always being present and responsive to all of us who frequent this blog during our happy times and disappointments. May your new age be filled with complete and utter joy.

  • @oluwakemine Sis you have set the record straight in a way no one has explained it to me before. It just makes sense especially since my hubby comes from a polygamist family where the wives compare their children and put brother against brother. Once again I thank God for you and @nicole and this whole group actually.

  • Thanks Everyone for the Birthday love!  I had a great weekend. I am taking this week off for Holiday.

But do you mind if I step on a soap box for a moment?

Someone please help me understand why in Nigerian culture must all good news be kept a secret. Must my happiness remain behind closed doors for this whole pregnancy? I just left my…[Read more]

  • @oluwakemine Yes. As of Monday, all of a sudden I felt like my old self again. It seriously happened overnight. Whereas last week I could barely get out of bed. I thank God for this burst of energy. I hope it lasts a while.

  • Hi Everyone! Sorry for the delayed response. Thanks to Donald Trump, I am crazy busy and all over the place at work trying to assist terrified clients.

The party will go down as soon as I leave this office tonight.

I thank God for another year of life and another  chance to be a Mummy. Being preggo is the best bday gift ever 😉

    I hope you all…[Read more]

@iyawodiipo @oluwakemine @nicole I turned Nigerian the day this guy proposed lol. No but seriously, I forced myself to learn dishes after watching my boyfriend/fiancé get giddy and happy about visiting one of his close friend’s home. No lie, the friend’s wife can make very nice food. I think it was one time in particular where I saw my man…[Read more]

    My bday is 11/19 :yahoo:

I think it’s more of me with the complaining. Hubby almost burnt the house down trying to make egusi. Part of our wall in the kitchen needs a new paint job. It’s funny now but he needs some help. He tried and I love him for that but I need to do some meal prepping for the week so we can survive.

    • Awww, I’m late to the party!!! @iyawodiipo, so glad to hear you’re back at work now  . But take it easy biko. And I agree with @nadia, maybe it’s really two nations in there :haha: . No shaking girl, nothing do you! You’re strong enough :bodyb: :bodyb: .

Thank God for you ladies. It’s been too quiet on this side.

@iyawodiipo Thank God you had some time to rest your body. It is well! I agree with @nadia on the snacks. I crave apples and cucumbers constantly. I suppose there could be worse cravings. I use to crave dark chocolate before AF but now I can’t stand the taste of it.
