Xtie ( @emeka ), oh I’ll very surely hold enough…LOL. Car seat, Moses’ basket, so many things one will need while there, so having enough money is key.
He couldn’t make it when I had the twins, so we had to notarise those documents. One of the reasons I want him around this time.
And the notarisation is why I’m making sure my hubby comes along oh! I know what I saw last time. LOL! Nothing too hard but it’s just easier if he’s there abeg.
Fingers crossed my agent can get him a visa appointment date in good time
Xtie ( @emeka ), thanks so much for the info. My intention is to fully pay my medical and accommodation before I leave. I don’t want any story story abeg! And of course, have something to hold.

@mumy-ruth hun, I can understand why you’d want to give birth where you know someone. That’s what ruled out LA for me. I’ll send some Air BnB options for Laurel shortly. I’ll also share some standard POE questions and answers.
My agent is Zircon Birth Services. She’s been good so far. You can find her on Instagram. Aspom is also good (but a…[Read more]
Adetola ( @adetola ) dear, my own personal answer to the ‘Why do you want to give birth in America?’ question would be because I think I can get better medical care there. Simple. No need for too much long story. Frankly, as long as you have your money, the reason is secondary…my own opinion oooo.
Hmmm, them not sending email correspondence m…[Read more]
Xtie ( @emeka ) , thanks dear. Is that inclusive of accommodation? I was thinking of circa $5k after accommodation?

Dear @altmance hun, so sorry about your diagnosis. Living with Asherman’s isn’t easy. Thank God for your miracle baby too . As far as proceeding for possible surgery, I understand your sentiments about wanting another child and also about putting your body through all that trauma. Have you considered perhaps using a surrogate?
As for…[Read more]
Thanks for your response. I read the below info on the Asherman’s website FAQs last night and it is making me think I should have it repaired regardless, as I get crampy during the time I should have my period and have some discomfort at other times of the month as well. Don’t think surrogacy is in the budget, unfortunately 🙁

@mumy-ruth, with respect to the NTS screening, even though my agent said the hospital I’m using only uses 1st scan to book an appointment, I still sent them my NTS scan, just in case. But overall, I would say it might not be that necessary.
Response from NIV to Change of Intention Letter:
Thank you for your inquiry.

@mumy-ruth dear, like @oye1 said, MD isn’t cheap at all. You’ll be lucky to find all-in medicals that fit into $10k, talkless of adding accommodation. Where in MD do you want to go, so I can share a few accommodation options from Air BnB?
I’m not travelling till December, and I already sent my change of intention email. I’ll include their…[Read more]
Bee247 ( @bee247 ), I’m not too sure how to contact the hospitals though. I’m using an Agent for mine, and it’s so much less stressful.
You can stay within a $10k limit dear. In Houston and Cali, if you spend 5-6k on medicals (vaginal), there are accommodation options. Here are a few I found in both cities:
