Thanks Nicole. I do have plans of cycling again but i dont know if my ovaries will still perform poorly as i dont want to use donor eggs as suggested by the doctors then. Dont know what to do. Period showed its ugly face this morning now and i can tell you i am a bag of emotions right now. feeling so disheartened as usual. 😥

I am actually trying the low carbohydrate high fat diet. I hear it helps in fertility issues. Not on any treatment plan presently.

Yinka @amudalat, are you talking about the Keto diet?

Trying to conceive over 35 3 years, 8 months ago
Hello everyone. well nothing is new. Its just this fear that the more one gets older, the more difficult it is to get pregnant naturally or otherwise. I have tried IVF once but it failed which was actually due to my FSH being high and not producing enough eggs. Endometriosis is also there. Really its so frustrating.
-
Yinka @amudalat, so sorry to hear about what you have had to deal with. It can be so frustrating, having to deal with all of these issues at once. Yes, science says, that it’s harder to get pregnant as a woman gets older but it doesn’t apply to everybody. Besides, our bodies are different and that makes a whole lot of difference in…[Read more]

Dear @amudalat, so sorry about the failed cycles. The combination can be tough. I’m glad you’re now eating clean. Weight loss, especially the healthy kind, has been known to greatly boost fertility. Do you have any plans of cycling again?

So sorry, @amudalat hun. It’s not easy, I know. Take some time to regroup dear…but I would also advise you think about the donor egg option. Its not worth it wasting so much money on a cycle that might not work, if your eggs aren’t cooperating. All will be well hun

Thanks.
