Hi everyone, to God be the Glory my princess was born on 19 /06/2019 weighing 8lbs 13oz through induction at 39 weeks and spending close to 14hrs in labour!
I was scheduled for an ECV procedure to turn the baby to cephalic but the baby turned head down by herself overnight the morning of the procedure to the surprise and jubilation of everyone.
Drs didn’t want to take chances seeing that my baby was constantly changing positions in the womb. They reasoned that should i fall into labour by myself with baby probably changing again into a breech position, then they would have to perform a c-section. In all, it ended in praise!
High bp is the major challenge since that we are working and praying to bring down hence why I’ve not been able to come online since.0June 17, 2019 at 1:04 am #84838June 10, 2019 at 2:31 am #84800
Glory be to God that it ended in praise.
God bless the new baby and the entire family.0May 27, 2019 at 1:59 am #84752
Happy Birthday Nicole! Good to know that you are my son’s birthday mate. May you enjoy long life and prosperity. Happy Birthday!!!!0April 10, 2019 at 10:34 pm #84538
@Ameera, @kech, we thank God for the deliveries and that respective mothers and babies are okay. Thank you for the birth stories. God bless your little ones.
@teema, Emirates seems okay for me (though has been my most preferred choice among all the airlines as i fly them often than others). For my flight coming up late May, I have a 4hrs layover in Dubai before the next flight to Newyork. Nevertheless, check all the available flights and look for the appropriate layover hrs that suits you. For accomodation, try Airbnb and you’ll see as many as you want in your area of choice. For anybody that used agent for hospital & accomodation, try and verify by yourself by contacting the hospital & accomodation before you leave Nigeria to avoid stories that touch. I decided to verify mine weeks ago but alas, no confirmed booking was made by the agent whatsoever…..
To all our Mamas back in Nigeria with their babies, I’ll say welcome back and “e ku igbadun “0March 31, 2019 at 12:53 am #84487March 29, 2019 at 10:35 am #84429
Congratulations to all who have put to bed of recent @Mumy Ruth and Tolulope (mama quadruplets!)and those that just have just return back with their cuties into Nigeria. @nicole, welcome back and do make sure you have enough pampering from your family so that you can get yourself back in time.
Dear All, please I need your advise. I plan to travel by May end and I am in a fix as to what baby things i needed to buy on ground in Nigeria before I travel. I know i would buy bulk of the baby things in US but just in case the logistics fails and the items don’t reach Nigeria early enough so that I won’t be in a mess upon my return. Please your advise would be appreciated. Thanks all.0March 6, 2019 at 10:55 pm #84330
@nicole, good to hear that you are keeping well despite everything. God’ll continue to keep you strong and healthy for the LO, your family and all of us here in Jesus Name!! Amen!!!!
Meanwhile, yippee!!!!!! My visa was approved at the embassy today.
@bunmious, I used Moda and didn’t regret using them as I practically changed my mind from using Zircon after reading @kech‘s testimony and reading from one Mum here who complained about Zircon. No hard feelings towards Zircon as she answered my questions professionally and promptly but my mind tended towards Moda and I went for them.0February 13, 2019 at 12:12 am #84163

Dear Nicole, I plan to stay in NYC for birthing for at least 2 weeks then move from there to Boston for further family care before I return to Nigeria.
Planning to travel by early May.0January 8, 2019 at 1:58 pm #83659
Congrats @nicole. Been, waiting for your good news to come out & comment. I’ve been a silent observer in this group because morning sickness did not allow me to type…. It’s getting better now that am in 2nd Trimester. Am planning New York ( being the nearest to Boston MA where I have relatives since I heard the bills in MA are crazy) and planning for February appointment at the embassy. Has anybody used NY hospitals and what’s it like?
Safe trip and easy delivery for all intending Mums.0
