Congrats @Nicole. Been, waiting for your good news to come out & comment. I’ve been a silent observer in this group because morning sickness did not allow me to type…. It’s getting better now that am in 2nd Trimester. Am planning New York ( being the nearest to Boston MA where I have relatives since I heard the bills in MA are crazy) and…[Read more]

Hi Oluwakemi, thanks for checking on me. I just found the password to my profile today to log in hence my absence since.
We’ve done tests and it was confirmed again that it’s the male factor. He’s undergoing some medications now as p r the doctor’s prescriptions. Being hopeful that all would end well.-
Glad to hear from you Akintwins @akintwins. How long does he have to take the medications before undergoing another test?
Meanwhile, you should stay as healthy as possible as a form of motivation for him.

Dear Nicole, many thanks for your kind response. I haven’t run any hormonal test. Which lab is recommendable in Ikeja? Can I work in to do it in the lab or based on Gynae recommendation? Is there anything I need to do before the test? Like how much in average is the test likely to be? Would the result be immediate and collected same day? I read…[Read more]

@akintwins hun, you can do it in any good lab dear. I used Pathcare, but they are in VI. It’s usually best for your Gina to recommend, as in the end, the results are best interpreted by him. They usually check for AMH, FSH, Progesterone and Prolactin levels. And yes, there are certain days in your cycle when these tests can be taken. Predicte is…[Read more]

Welcome to our family Akintwins @akintwins.
I think your husband’s sperm has improved some. However doing an hormonal test like Nicole @nicole suggested might shed light on what is going on in your body. And you may not even need IVF. Talk to your doctor about the hormonal assay and get a recommendation from the tests for…[Read more]

Am so sad and have been having headache since morning. Have a child almost 6 yrs ago who would be 6yrs this year and i started trying since 4yrs ago without luck. Did HSG and both tubes were ok, have fibroid outside the ovary which docs @ Lasuth said does not affect conception, hubby diagnosed of low sperm count which he had been using FertilsanM…[Read more]

Dear @akintwins, welcome to our family
. Secondary infertility can be so frustrating, so we understand how you feel. Thank God your tubes are patent, and the fibroid is outside the uterus. Did you run any hormonal tests at all? Do you use OPKs to confirm ovulation? It would be a good idea to verify these, before making a suggestion…[Read more]
