Teema ( @teema ) , so sorry for the late response. Still working on my time management :dohh: :dohh:

For fresh circumcision, it shouldn’t be that expensive. Georges Memorial told me it would cost 30k (outside of registration and consultation fees of course). BUT it was because mine was a second procedure and thus termed ‘surgery’ that they were…[Read more]

I listened to all the advise on this forum and did mine when i got back to Nigeria at 2 months. One of my best decisions cos it looks perfect now and didn’t have to fo through the trouble of doing it twice.

Folly ( @folly ), that’s exactly what happened with my son. It was fine at first and then the skin grew, making the penis retract. I was also advised to be pulling the foreskin back and heaping tons of Vaseline on the tip, but for where! I think most of the doctors over there don’t cut it well enough to prevent the foreskin from growing as the…[Read more]

    Teema ( @teema ) hun, I understand your dilemma.

My son was re-circumcised at 6 weeks. Yes, it was painful, but he recovered in a matter of days. Truthfully, it might be better to wait till you’re back here as it’s touch and go over there. You might be lucky or you might not be. Mumy Ruth ( @mumy-ruth ) also waited to get home to circumcise her…[Read more]

  • Hello all. Please I need your experienced advice. My baby’s circumcision appointment is Thursday but I remember reading here about people having to do it again in Nigeria. He will be 6 weeks plus when we get back can I get it done then? He was low weight when born and they advised we wait a while so he hasn’t had anything done yet. Thank you

  • Meanwhile, what is this I’m hearing about babies born to non-US citizens not being entitled to American citizenship till after 6 weeks?

  • Don’t worry Folly ( @folly ) hun, I’m sure you’ll find a way. I use an old store in my office, and I’m able to pump about twice daily, now that I work a full work day

What are your nursing hours like? Mine should have been 8:30 to 2:30, but I opted to resume at the normal resumption, so I could close at 1:30.

  • @nicole yes I have nursing mother hours, first nerve wrecking issue is this pumping at work wahala. Lol God help me

  • Welcome back home, Folly ( @folly ) dear  :hugs: . I know how hectic it is in the early days, entertaining guests and all…but there’s truly no place like home. And don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll settle into a decent routine with work and all. Do you get to resume later and/or close earlier?

Kisses to the lil man
