When I heard there was a Doctor in Nigeria who performs non-invasive fibroid removal, I just had to meet him….and I wasn’t disappointed. Dr Olajuwon Christian Alabi is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at South Shore Womenâs Victoria Island, Lagos. He is the CEO & Founder of South Shore Womenâs Clinic. He is a United Kingdom trained consultant Gynaecologist with special interest in infertility, fibroid and Minimal access surgery (Keyhole Surgery).
Dr Alabi completed his gynaecological training in the Manchester area of the United Kingdom and worked as a consultant gynaecologist at the Liverpool Womenâs Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital before relocating to Nigeria in 2009. Upon returning to Nigeria, he worked as a visiting consultant to St Nicholas Hospital, Lagos. He is an adviser to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) and Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu (OOUTH) on Minimally Invasive surgery. He is currently solely dedicated at working in South Shore.
His special interest is using new technology to manage womenâs health issue leading to improved outcome quick recovery and sometimes no external cut during surgery using techniques such as Laser and other modern technologies.
