lol @bosa, that staying on one for a bit is boring and he hates it like crazy…he would be like ”this again, not today, please add something or better still change spoon or plate.”
Example: Yesterdays breakfast was 100ml Yogurt followed by bottle milk of 120ml. Lunch was self-made pureed mango 200ml followed by 50ml bottle milk then slice of apple **Just to learn how to chew.** Dinner was Pureed Green beans + Irish potato and little Meat of 150ml but didn’t sleep until he had 120ml of bottle milk.
Even with all those, he still wakes up twice at night for 120ml milk.
Note: All pureed food where made with bottle milk of 50ml or more depending on how the blender rolls and I try not to use to much to retain its taste and also achieve a good consistency that is not watery.August 29, 2018 at 6:24 pm #50333

The whole family was down last week and thank God we are getting better. We now have teeth…**Biting all biteables. 🙁 ** Spotted all through last week and its beginning to calm down, doc. said I may need to induce period soon but honestly I do not have time for PCOS drama now. At the moment I just want to live my life without popping pills or doing anything extra.**Carries speaker: I NEED A BREAK**September 5, 2018 at 2:49 pm #50431

@bosa: The bites are already coming. I pray for some quietness as well. I am trying to figure out how coming around will work for Prince, for myself and Oga is no ish. We both hate queuing for Visas and now we have to do it for our little one plus we do not have a visa card for payment which is another challenge we are facing. The thought of going to the consulate alone makes me sick and its either we get a visa for him or get a passport straight away. Typing this alone is annoying that we have to face this difficulties. Asides the difficulties comes the fear of falling ill for Oga. We visited a friend in LUTH 2years ago and his life never remained the same plus Prince is still under the watch of a specialist and a doctor for heart murmur which is why I have not been active on the platform.September 10, 2018 at 11:01 am #50505
Dear @pearl it shall all end in praises. if you can do the visa via post, that could be a way out. The passport may be tough these days, even here there is always scarcity of booklets. I can imagine the annoyance when you think of the consulate, immigration is so annoying here and i think even worse abroad. The Nigerian Houses have stinking attitude, I recall having to take my sister to the Nigeria house in London when she misplaced her passport…It was hellish, short of kneeling down to greet, I stormed out in annoyance and had to go back with “a name” before we could get anywhere.
I can’t imagine all the fears you’ve got to think about, but as they say life goes on. You can’t live in fear, it could be a short trip after the specialists have given everyone a clean bill of health. We pray for good news concerning the heart murmur, remain strong and keep enjoying each day. The devil can not steal your joy hun…..praying with you….September 14, 2018 at 10:30 am #50646September 18, 2018 at 6:13 am #50750
Exactly 5weeks and 1 day today and hooray the bleeding has stopped with no pills nor shots needed. Its was a deliberate decision for me to allow my body do whatever she wants to do this time without calling for any assistance. Although I feel lighter and better, I just hope this doesn’t repeat itself again.
Moving forward, I was complaining about one of the food to the company that makes it about how expensive it is and how often I have to buy due to the fact that there is a buy only 2 policy; lo and behold the company contacted me and sent me a surprise. A surprise myself and oga are yet to recover from…They sent me 12boxes of his food, that means we do not have to buy that particular food again till he one or even above one because Prince is a picky eater. What a jackpot.
So far so good we are reaching all our milestones fast; we are now expert in crawling and sitting to watch TV, we also love to drink from a cup and do not mind having all meals in a cup and drink but mama will not agree 🙁
Next immunization is in two weeks and we are ready for that…Bring it on!September 19, 2018 at 10:42 am #50773
@pearl, I am so glad to read that the bleeding has stopped. Hopefully, it’s a thing of the past now. And WOW! 12 boxes of baby food! That is awesome and truly a great means of savings. So happy for you. And so glad to read about all the progress Prince is making! So, so amazing . Well done, Mom!September 19, 2018 at 3:52 pm #50779

Yeahhhhh @pearl that’s great news I pray your body has “learned” going forward.
Great news on the baby food, serious savings….Great stuff. This mama sef, it is nice he’s taking food from the cup, some of us refused cup till past 1 so encourage it once in a while. Hmmmm soon our Prince will be having his 1st birthday shoot, time really does go by quickly.September 24, 2018 at 5:31 am #50814
@nicole: If only you can imagine the amount saved, its like I won a lottery.
@bibi: Good to read from you. Thanks for the prayers; Hoping the murmur resolves itself, #fingerscrossed.
@bosa: Its indeed a serious saving for us and you are right time has gone by too quickly. **Now raising an independent man 🙁 I can no longer swaddle him 🙁 , he can stand on his own and now tries getting out of his crib . The struggle is becoming realer. 😥 **September 26, 2018 at 9:02 am #50878
@pearl how is the Prince? Any update from the hospital? Hope you’ve got some headway with the passport or visa? Has he tried Amala? What was his reaction?
The struggle is real….So much more in store, get ready….. I thought my boy would walk from 8-9months because he was always standing in his crib and trying to get his leg out, thank God for the adjustment on the crib, we made it so low yet he would still try….
Have a good day…..
