Darling I have endometriosis too, I mean with adhesions and it was sooooo bad that it damaged my 2 tubes. But I still got my bfp from Kingswill hospital. The major issue is your lining cos thick linings are very common with endometriosis. If your lining is thick, discuss with your doc on taking bcp for at least a month before commencing ivf and ensure to use steroids cos endo is closely associated with immune issues. In conclusion, you might need more than one cycle to get a bfp hence be money smart. It is well my fellow endo sis.January 13, 2018 at 2:50 am #44151
I went to Ark and really fell inl love with the place but when the total bill for 1 cycle was almost 2 million, na so I waka comot. So make up your mind darling. KoJanuary 13, 2018 at 6:06 am #44153
No need to apologise for your post, that’s what we are here for, to share each other’s burdens.
Zeetee, @zeetee, so sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Which doctor diagnosed you and your husband of these conditions?
The clinics that Nicole @nicole suggested to you are clinics with track record, and Ark Klinic has a good antecedent of treating Endo patients successfully. Dr. Shuaib of FertilAid in Abuja is also very good, however, with accommodation, a challenge, you may want to pitch your tent in Lagos. but it is still your decision Zeetee.
As regards, Kingswill Specialist hospital, I must say, the doctor must be doing something right, due to the amount of feedback, we have been getting in the past couple of days. The clinic sounds like a good choice, especially if cost is a factor too.
Sending you loads of hug dear May God grant you peace of mind.January 13, 2018 at 7:27 am #44158January 13, 2018 at 7:32 am #44159

@oluwakemine, It was when I didn’t conceive for over two years that I visited Bridge Clinic and their Pathcare lab did a transvaginal scan and observed Endometriosis. Also my Dh ran a sperm test with them and his count was low.
You all are life savers for responding. May God meet you all at the point of your needs.
Please @fruityfruity, can you help me to confirm how sincere this could be. My colleague used Kingswill and got bfn, though she has PCOS but she complained that MD of Kingswill hospital didn’t give her required attention. He rushed her through the process which may have contributed to the bfn. Am not really sure how sincere that could be.January 13, 2018 at 9:27 am #44161January 13, 2018 at 11:35 am #44162
@zeetee:this is an issue of many doctors especially those that have many patients. There’s always a strategy, try to get a lil personal with them, make enough research about your procedure before going to the hospital and sometimes you can ‘tip’ them. Then you’ll become their personal person and you’ll get the best treatment.
Darling you’ve not even confirmed your endometriosis. Path care cannot diagnose endo pls. Go to a gyn to get an accurate diagnosis. I don’t really believe in going to these ivf clinics first so as not to waste money. If one of your ovaries is affected and your tubes are still intact, there are cheaper alternatives.
@ZayTee:I’ll rather u sent me a pm so we can talk extensively and not disturb everyone here. I can be of help to you sis.January 13, 2018 at 12:47 pm #44163
Free ivf for 20 couples and the portal will be opened for only one week https://ibidunniighodalofoundation.org/iif-grant/application-form/January 13, 2018 at 4:03 pm #44164January 14, 2018 at 6:34 am #44166January 14, 2018 at 6:55 am #44168
Zeetee @zeetee, BCP means birth control pills and the steriods work to boost the effects of the BCP and on your immune system as well.
Fruity @fruityfruity, I’m a Nigerian and I know about these things but I find it quite a dent on the reputation of that clinic, if I have to tip the staff, get personal with them to get the “Best treatment.” Since you know them so well, please tell them they are slipping.
Meanwhile, thanks for the IIF link. I just confirmed it on their Instagram page. 20 couples will be awarded the grant.

@oluwakemine:NO clinic will ask that you do that na, haba. That’s not even what I mean. It’s just that I just like to be close to doctors on a really personal level so that they can help me at every time and even disturb them in the middle of the night lol. That’s even if they will ever collect it sef. Maybe I was too desperate for help sha…. But trust me no doctor will ever collect it but the gesture is already there.. U get…January 14, 2018 at 8:12 pm #44176
