I used Georges for my cycle. Initially was hung on Dr Faye as @nicole recommended him.
I think he is good, but he just never had my time and I always felt rushed at his appointment, once he wasn’t around and I saw Dr Ugwueke and I felt better with him and my cycle eventually worked. The people at Georges are great my embryologists were amazing! but mehn their waiting time is HORRIBLE. however , i am currently with Roding for ante-natal etc , also had my cerclage there and Dr Bero is amazing, waiting time too isnt as bad as GeorgesOctober 26, 2015 at 7:45 am #7788October 26, 2015 at 9:38 am #7807
@reggy that is exactly how my friend described it….lol @ alomo bitter!!
I got a bit of that no response after the failed cycle but my nature is always to pester till i get what i desire, so they couldn’t get away from me that fast…I hounded Emeka and Racheal with SMS….oh yes, i remember PT – i had no period for 6 weeks after the cycle. He made me do a test and till today i didnt get a call, i told him – don’t put me on voicemail, he laughed and said i promise..I had done several tests which were negative so i didn’t bother wasting my credit on them.
I look forward to starting with Dr. Faye but i don’t want any other doctor oh so pray tell how do you get to see Dr. Faye?October 26, 2015 at 9:40 am #7809October 26, 2015 at 10:00 am #7812
@bosa hun, unfortunately I hear one has to book weeks in advance to see him. So have that in mind before you go there hun. Alternatively, you could send him a message here, as I know he checks in ever so oftenOctober 26, 2015 at 10:03 am #7814October 26, 2015 at 12:40 pm #7835
@nicole, I believe you have his number already. For my 1st cycle I badly wanted Dr Faye but they said he was fully booked for 6 weeks. Hian, I ran cos I wanted a Dr I can call or text whenever. Like ive always said, I am having a good time with Dr Emeka, he has been availbale since my cancelled cycle, he returns all my missed calls n same day too.October 26, 2015 at 3:14 pm #7841October 26, 2015 at 3:29 pm #7844

Ladies, so as we mentioned, we met Dr. Yemisi Adeyemi-Bero on Saturday, and also earlier again this week. My people, I was mega mega impressed!!! And I knew I just had to come and share more here:
I first heard about her when I was reading T.Y. Bello’s testimony, and my interest got piqued when she made mention of her. I Googled her, and was very impressed by what I read. And I was even happier to finally meet her on Saturday! For someone of such repute, she was incredibly warm, friendly, and so approachable! And as we chatted over lunch, I was even more impressed by her in-depth knowledge of ART. This woman knows her stuff!
In a nutshell, Dr Oluyemisi Adeyemi- Bero is a Family Practice Physician with over 20 years post-graduation experience; She trained as a specialist in Family Medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, USA (Board Certified) and also had some years of training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the UK. She was instrumental in the start-up of the Roding Reproductive Centre, and she also previously worked as a Fertility Specialist at The Bridge Clinic, and was also a Consultant with Prime Medical Consultant’s, Port Harcourt.
She subsequently set up The Ark (Alpha Assisted Reproduction Klinic), where they specialise in providing assisted reproductive treatments (ART), to men and women who have tried naturally to conceive but require some medical help. Their treatment options include:
- Donor Egg Program
- Donor Sperm Program
- Surrogacy – Gestational Carrier System
- Embryo Freezing
I was very impressed, especially by their Surrogacy program, as they have a very thorough process of selecting and pairing surrogates with patients, and also tying up all the legal loose ends.
Please check them out here:

Hi lovely ladies!
So, one of the reasons we haven’t published the updated clinic ranking is that we have wanted to meet these doctors ourselves, to get a better feel. @oluwakemine and I have been making the rounds for the last few weeks, meeting doctors from these clinics, and it has been very interesting, to say the least. Some of these clinics have blown us away, while some have been very
Soooooooo today, we met with Dr. Emeka. I was right, as I remember his face from my George’s days. I have to say that his clinic is quite nice. Lots of nice touches here and there (the complimentary tea/coffee and Wifi :haha:). And, on face value, the clinic staff seem waaay more organised than any I have encountered. He was also very kind to chat with us extensively, shared a lot of information with us, and even took us on a tour of the clinic. Very very impressive.
But, there is a small but sha… Yes, we found him very helpful and chatty…but I sensed the teeniest bit of arrogance with him…and on the drive home, @oluwakemine said she did as well. But it was very small though (blink and you miss it kind of small). Maybe we are just over sensitive women, abi Kemi?
But long and short, I would give the clinic a 7.
We have 2 more rounds to make, and we’ll publish the updated ranking next week. PromiseNovember 11, 2015 at 2:27 pm #8716
@mrsd Gynoscope is good, my friend finally got their baby here. 2nd attempt, and as she informed me when i harassed her of not losing weight before the procedure that the doctor said newer drugs so she dnt have to. I wasn’t encouraged, alas doctor was well informed she was bigger this cycle and this stuck so yea.November 11, 2015 at 3:20 pm #8718
I’m not going to lie, I was wowed by Olive Branch and impressed Dr. Emeka but I could feel the arrogant vibe coming off him, maybe its just over confidence in his expertise and such but its there all the same.
Some of the others, we have been to, leave a lot to be desired. @reggy, that Regenesis doctor no here at all.
