Accidentally Knocked Up/You Used To Love Me/Sister Sister – Reader Sound-Off

It has been quite a year!

The last 12 months have seen us journey with Ose, Cheta and Fola in their very exciting stories!

As we prepare to welcome Golibe on September 18th, we would like to hear from you, our awesome reading community. We’d love you to share your thoughts, opinions, highs, lows, favorite story, heroine, character…anything really!

And in case you’re wondering, all 3 stories were modeled around true life incidents, but fictionalized for the most part, not only to protect the real people, but also to make for a more readable story. The ratio of fiction and fact varied with each story, and some of them were the amalgamation of multiple real-life characters blended into 1. But overall, the nucleus and essence of each story were hinged on real life incidents.

However, our other diaries Confessions of a Fat Girl, Faith’s Pregnancy Diary, Tayo’s Infertility Diary, A Fresher’s IVF Journey and Morayo’s Mountain are from the real life experiences of their respective authors. No fiction there. Watch out for the pregnancy diary of a fab twin momma starting after Faith’s diary concludes.

We are grateful to our awesome writers, who have gifted us with awesome bodies of literature, and are excited about our new writer coming on board in just a little over a month!

So…share! What are your thoughts so far?

And in case you missed any of them, you can catch up on them below:

  1. Accidentally Knocked Up
  2. You Used To Love Me
  3. Sister, Sister

Thanks so much for reading! We appreciate each and every one of you

  1. Must say, whether fiction or fact… love the stories regardless. Gives me something to read as juggling work and being mum doesn’t give me enough to read books as often as I’d like.. So keep up the good work but please less suspense

  2. The only story I have managed to read from the beginning to the end is sister sister, the other 2 I started reading but I had to take a break since I missed some episodes and I wasn’t really getting the plot but I enjoyed sister sister from the very first episode to the last, maybe I should make time to read the other two, thumbs up to your writers they are very good and their choice of words are very superb as well, cheers to all of them ?

    • Thanks Gladys. We are compiling all Faith’s previous diary entries, as well as Ihunna’s, Tayo’s, Morayo’s and Omon’s, so that they can all be accessed from the same place.

  4. ‘Amazing!’ That’s the word.Loved the 3 stories, can’t even pick my favorite…but ‘you used to live me’ isn’t done yet, is it???

  5. Enjoyed Accidentally Knocked Up and then Sister, Sister very much. Recently I started r easing You used to love me and goodness me;I couldn’t get out of my chair. I read from episode 1 to 19(at the time) n I’m abreast with it. Great stories, I must confess. Keep up the good work. Cheers!

I especially love the Folabomi story…(sister sister)

“You used to love me” – I can relate with that one, lol. I pity my dear cheta.

As for “accidentally knocked up” lol… Lemme start reading it now!

  8. THANK YOU YOU HAVE GIVEN ME FAITH AND COURAGE TO WRITE AGAIN.
I HAVE LAUGHED AND CRIED ON MY OFFICE DESK THIS YEAR THANKS TO YOU. I FOUND THIS PAGE AFTER MY MISCARRIAGE BUT THE BEST PART WAS I DID NOT JUST GET INFORMATION, IT ENCOURAGED ME TO START MY BLOG AND GETTING LOST IN THESE STORIES WAS LIKE MY SECRET GETAWAY FROM REALITY. JUST ME AND MY LAPTOP IN MY OFFICE.

THANK YOU TFC ONEDAY I WILL SHARE MY STORY TOO

  9. Sister sister was my first story here since I joined the group not so long ago.. I loved every single bit of it. The characters, the romance, the suspense, i had something to look forward to every week. I will try and catch up on the other stories. September though is such a long time.
Kudos to you guys. Job very well done..!!!

  10. I followed Sister Sister and You used to love me from the beginning. I must say the stories really rang true especially Sister Sister as I could relate with some of the incidents BTW Fola and Dolapo. For the other, Cheta started writing to Ter but somehow changed the writing style towards the end but I really enjoyed all the episodes and I must say I feel a bit sad that they have ended

  11. Hmm. What more can I say? Folabomi of sister sister inspired me and taught me to keep pride aside when it comes to love. I salute the strength of Cheta in You used to love me but I do hope you aren’t done with the diary of Cheta. Accidentally knocked up was the diary that got me to like this page. Kudos to The Fertile Chick ?. Looking forward to Golibe.
Kisses and Love from this end….. Lo

  12. I love all of them. I just could not wait for the next episodes . It’s always one of the reasons I look forward toMondays. Fola just literally killed me! The writers are simply amazing.. Keep it up guys!!

  13. I Looooooved the story of the lady that was preggers for one man and Married another that she really loved. I think it’s Cheta not sure though cause I met it half way. All your stories are fabulous and keep me company.kudos.

  14. I read & enjoyed all three! In fact, on some days I’d come to facebook just because of them. I really loved Accidentally Knocked up! Very great story! I also enjoyed You used to love me. Sister sister was very nice- but the story line sounded a bit unrealistic and long winded to me…
Please which of them are true life stories?

  15. My favorite story was sister sister but cheta’s story made me learn more about life. it made me realise what people are really going through in marriage but will rather be quiet in the name of protecting their marriage. Cheta was indeed a strong woman.

  16. Loved all three! Sister sister was ????.. mayb because it’s still fresh anyway!

How can I join your team so as a budding writer??

  17. I thoroughly enjoyed every episode of all three stories, the anticipation, the suspense!! Thank you for lighting up my day with every single one of them. Kudos to the writers and everyone behind the scenes. It’s an awesome job that you do. Good on you! Looking forward to much more.

  18. I read all three & I always savour the time it is usually posted to read it . Whenever things turns out how I didn’t expect, it spoils my mood for that day.
The diaries are heart-touching & related to some real life experiences. ….still waiting to read ‘you used to love me’ till the end.
More power to your elbow @the fertile chick

  19. All the stories are interesting, entertaining and full of life lessons. I don’t even know which one to pick as my favourite. I have never been so dedicated to only stories, but with Ose, Cheta and Fola, it was like an addiction I couldn’t get over. Kudos to the authors and #thefertilechick. Looking forward to Golibe.

  21. Though all has been captivating but to me none can be compared to Faith’s pregnancy diary… Which I believe is real in all sense.
Faith… I love that lady…. Everytime I see the stories… I read them over and over again.
