Real Pregnancy Symptoms

For those of us who still choose to symptom spot, using 35 women whose two-week wait did lead to pregnancy, I have compiled these daily recorded symptoms, counting from ovulation, and shown in the charts below. Based on these results, the most common symptoms are summarized thus:

  • 1 DPO – 69% of the women felt nothing
  • 2 DPO – €“ 49% of the women felt nothing

  • 5 DPO – €“ 31% of the women had cramps
  • 6 DPO –  40% of the women had cramps
  • 7 DPO –  40% of the women noticed changes in their cervical mucus and had sensitive breasts
  • 8 DPO –  31% of the women suffered exhaustion and had sensitive breasts
  • 9 DPO –  34% of the women had cramps and nausea
  • 10 DPO – “ 41% of the women suffered exhaustion
  • 11 DPO –  36% of the women had cramps
  • 12 DPO – €“ 41% of the women noticed changes in their cervical mucus
  • 13 DPO –  42% of the women had cramps
  • 14 DPO –  22% of the women had cramps, noticed changes in their cervical mucus, were gassy and bloated, and had sensitive breasts
  • 15 DPO –  50% of the women had cramps, suffered exhaustion, and felt like they were coming on their period
  • 16 DPO –  67% of the women had sensitive breasts and felt like they were coming on their period
  • 17 DPO –  50% of the women had cramps, noticed changes in their cervical mucus, and had positive pregnancy tests
