Hi Nicole! Thanks for reaching out! To be honest I think I am at a point where I dont think I want to do anything but the truth is its not just me so whatever it is i have to carry my husband along. So I guess my question is if what else can I do? What are my other options? My husbands numbers are good now the last time we checked it was about 20…[Read more]

    • Perhaps, you need to get back on the metformin @mrrsho. Did you have any reactions to it? And you could try the OPKs, to determine, when you ovulate and get some action at that time :sex: at that time. Who knows? And I totally get you about feeling like not doing anything again. I mean, you have practically done everything, but you can’t stop…[Read more]

Ok I will. But im just curious as to what other options that are open to me. Because I wouldn’t want to waste time and money on a fertility expert

Hi Kemi thanks for your response. No I am using a different gynecologist and she is aware of the previous cycle. Based on my last visit she said if this doesn’t work she would refer me to a specialist. The reason why I didn’t go to a specialist initially is because the last time I went to bridge and what they recommended was IVF. So other than IUI…[Read more]

    • I get you Temi @mrssho, but she needs to refer you ASAP. IVF is like the grandfather of all of the treatments, to now try IUI after it is like a waste of time. But please avoid clomid cycle as much as you can.

      • @mrssho, welcome to our family :hugs: :friends: . I just got caught up on the chat chain, and it’s actually 12 cycles of Clomid a woman can have in her lifetime…but if you have already done 6, it might be time to pull the plug on that option. My dear, please don’t waste money on IUI. Especially with male factor issues and PCOS, it could be a…[Read more]

Well I am currently seeing a LUTH OBGYN who also has her own private practice so its not a known hospital, she was referred to me by my friend. I did 4 cycles of clomid last year and I think i did 6 cycles in 2013 or 2014 cant remember which one. I did my IVF in 2015 (the main reason why it was recommended was due to my husbands low sperm count…[Read more]

    • Did you do all this clomid cycle with same doctor? Or you didn’t tell the doctors, the number of clomid cycles you have had. Temi @mrssho, over the years, it has been recommended that the maximum number of clomid cycles, a woman should have in her life time is SIX. If what you mentioned above is real, then you need to take a break from clomid and…[Read more]

I was diagnosed with PCOS but i have gone through the phase of eating healthy, working out, etc and still no change despite the fact that i responded well to all my meds, so i guess its unexplained. I had a visit to my OBGYN this weekend because I started clomid again and she seemed lost for words as to why the cycles weren’t successful. So what…[Read more]

    • OHSS? So sorry about that @mrssho. That must have been really horrific. However, I don’t think, IUI might be the answer, considering you have tried IVF twice. How many cycles of clomid have you had and which clinic are you using?

    Hi Oluwakemi
Thank you for the warm welcome! I have been trying for 4 years. I have had 2 failed IVF cycles. Though I am responsive to clomid and my tubes are not blocked, it hasnt worked for me either

    • You have been through some interesting time @mrssho. So you are dealing with unexplained infertility or are there other conditions?
