Yeah I guess making progress. I notice I feel lighter and thinner around the waist. That should be a good sign. Well I always spot before my period but for a day max. I don’t want to think about it but this kinda looks like (IB) to me. Still waiting to see what it turns out to be.

Okay ma would definitely give it a shot. I have started to balance with plant protein, lesser carbs, more fruits and veggies so hopefully I’ll get on track. Started spotting 3days ago but no real period in sight. Oh my don’t I have the most obnoxious bfp SYMPTOMS!!!!! Oh well. Not getting my hopes up and NOT checking either.

@nicole. Oh My!!!! That Keto thing ain’t never gon work for me. Hehehehe. Oh well. My plans to reduce my sugar intake is going well. Managing my weight and all. But I’m most concerned about getting my first period for the year. Been really worried bout that. Looking into hormone therapy treatments to stabilize them hormones.

    • Hi @missirregularversion, glad to hear, you are bringing your sugar cravings under control, however I would suggest an enhanced lifestyle changes before the hormone therapy… if you have the time. True, Keto isn’t for everyone but it helps a lot, if one can stick to it.

    • @missirregularversion hun, what kind of hormone treatments are you on? And I used to think I could never do KETO but I surprised myself. Try it hun. So many success stories about how it has helped women regulate their cycles. Or even if not KETO, try to eliminate white carbs from your diet. Can you manage?

Very well said. I’m not exactly faithful to the healthy lifestyle. I’m a Coca Cola fan. Sugar cravings caused by the hormonal imbalances. I haven’t had a period in 3months. Negative hpts. Bloated tummy. Bracing up for a scan this weekend. Hopefully there’s a surprise waiting.

    • @missirregularversion hun, you’ll notice a marked change with lifestyle changes. I understand only too well those sugar cravings (I still struggle), but trust me, you’ll be the better for it. Just start by ditching the soda and sweet treats, and watch how you feel. Good luck this weekend hun. Let us know how it goes :dust: :dust:

@nicole sorry for the late response. Work stuff. My Doc had me on clomid and tamoxifen as I said earlier. After failed cycles i decided to stop those because they only made my moods worse and increased my anxiety.

    • @missirregularversion hun, you’re right. Those meds can sometimes be disruptive. Have you tried any lifestyle changes (diet et al)? So many PCOS women have had their symptoms considerably lessened through diet changes, some even getting their :bfp:

      • I second @Nicole.
        You are what you eat.

Awww thanks so much. I was first diagnosed with the condition in 2011. I have had it since I was 15. Never had regular cycle. Gone a year without a period. If I’m lucky enough I get 8 periods a year. I never really understood the danger of all of it until I got married.

    • @missirregularversion hun, I feel you. I got diagnosed with PCOS when I was already managed, and as my periods have always been regular, I didn’t even have any inkling that anything was wrong. What treatment does your doctor have you on?

  • Eneyi Pryce posted a new activity comment 3 months ago

I honestly can’t say I’ve done much. Aside from therapy to deal with anxiety and depression, a few failed cycles on clomid and tamoxifen. Nothing really. It’s because a part of me that the symptoms almost feel like a part of my personality. Sad.
