He didn’t tell me when I will check my levels again maybe I’m two weeks time because that’s when my mext appointment is. But he said I will be on it until my 20th week then go for a scan and once the placemta is formed i will stop it. But wi like to know how effective cyclogest is.

    • It is quite effective, @eby. That’s what I was on, when I was pregnant. I didn’t play with it at all, at all. If your doctor says once, then once…but personally, I’m not sure if once is enough. But let’s trust what he says. My dear, for PCOS girls like us, carbs can send our hormones flying all over the place. So no KETO, but just eat these in…[Read more]

    • It is well, @eby dear. It will all end in praise, by God’s grace! :hugs:

    • @eby to be honest, I never checked my progesterone levels after my first hospital appointment, but I must have been on the Cyclogest till I was almost in my 3rd trimester. I didn’t even want to take chances

Are you serious, and I’ve been eating so much cabohydrate lately, rice, Garri and bread. So it could compromise my levels, My doctor said I should use it once daily.

    • Thanks @rodyka. Of course, @eby will still eat her carbs, but the key is moderation. Pregnancy is not the time to deny oneself of any of the food groups, carbs being one of them. But for a PCOS girl, prone to hormonal fluctuations thanks to sugar, it is important to keep a watchful eye on the amount of carbs ingested

    • @eby, please please please, you have to use the Cyclogest religiously!!! It is critical. Three times a day, if possible! We have to get your progesterone up. And also be careful with your diet hun. Of course, no starvation, but keep restricting things like bread and rice to the barest minimum. Nothing must compromise your progesterone hun.
