Often times, at least here in Nigeria, semen samples are all about count, i.e. the volume of sperm in the semen sample. Once the count is fine, the man is given a clean bill of health. However, count is only one of the factors that determine fertility. If the sperm are not able to swim properly, be it as a result of their shape or constitution, even if there 1 billion in the semen sample, achieving pregnancy will be incredibly difficult. My advice is to go to a proper laboratory when running semen fertility tests, and be sure to ask if they check for the sperm mobility/motility.
