I hope so too. Your current diet isn’t that bad, except for the ice cream and salted groundnut and please don’t tell me, you eat all these combined :haha:   :haha:  That is what I call, craving 2.0. Stay blessed Sis

Awww, look at you with your preggo cravings    . This gladdens my heart no end! Don’t force yourself to eat anything you’re not feeling, hun. And I totally get you, as per salted groundnut. Why the heck people eat bland groundnut beats me

Seriously though, please keep your feet up hun. Are you having another scan soon?

@nicole, sure will be having another scan soon. Infact, my fertility specialist has handed me over to the gyn and she wants to be seeing me every 2weeks but I told her thats too much that she should make it monthly which she agreed to. :yahoo:

A scan with lung specialist this friday and seeing gyn next week tuesday but can call her anytime if needed…she has also advised to consume those salted g.nut in moderation to avoid high blood pressure but thats the only thing I can eat for now… :-(

Good luck with the lung specialist, @pearl hun. Sending you big hugs :hugs:

As for seeing your Gyn only monthly, if it were me, I’d opt for 2 weeks. Are you sure you don’t want to do 2 weeks for starters?

Thanks @nicole, I just think 2weeks is too often and since I can always call her to make appointment if needed or concerned about anything so I think no worries been on monthly appointment with the gyn.

Note: I will also be seeing other people along the line, midwife… :-( which justifies the monthly appointment. Only God knows who the gyn will add again.

@oluwakemine: God is indeed great…Over to paper work, listing what to do so as not to miss out on anything. Making list of baby essentials and ticking as fast as possible…Its fun to be preparing so early. :yahoo:

Still contemplating about using disposables or re-useable diapers…Many I have asked from are now calling me too traditional and old. :-(

:haha: :haha:   :haha:  Madam planner Pearl.  This is your call @pearl, go with what you want and when baby is here, you can determine what works then. The more people you ask, the more, who would give you even more labels, so stop asking and go with your motherly instincts and of course, ease of usage, as well as health considerations.

@nicole, you were right about the 2weeks check-up interval.

I woke up yesterday around 7:30am to pee and wiped out blood, I was extremely scared. Wiped again and a big blood clot followed…I shouted JESUS!

I grabbed my phone took pictures of the blood clot and called the hospital emergency line for pregnant women; it didnt even ring before they picked up, I was relieved. Told her what happened and she said I should come right away.

    Long story…

Got there and they did both transvaginal and abdominal scan (Baby was doing fine and saying :hi: with good heart beat) I was relieved.

She also thinks placenta embedded low but thats also not the case…The utreus was also closed and not leaking…So where did the blood clot came from.

She said the blood clot might be coming from follicles in the ovary due to PCOS, I was like… :growlmad:

Although the blood/spotting had stopped I was placed on admission for observation and monitoring and discharged last night, was also placed on weekly calls and 2weeks interval checkup/scan.

@pearl, I’m so glad it all ended well. More frequent visits are always my own recommendation.

I also had that kind of bleed at 9 weeks…clots and all. Maybe it’s a PCOS thing, like your nurse said. Either way, really glad you’re doing great hun!

This baby aint going nowia :cloud9: :cloud9:
