5 Day Transfer

Day Post Transfer (DPT)
1 At the time of transfer, the embryo is already a blastocyst, and should start the process of hatching from its shell
2 As the hatching process continues, the blastocyst should start to attach itself to the uterine wall
3 The blastocyst attaches itself deeper in the uterine wall, beginning the implantation process
4 The implantation process continues
5 Implantation should be complete, and the cells that will become the placenta and fetus begin to develop
6 hCG starts to enter the blood stream. At this stage, it is possible to start experiencing genuine pregnancy symptoms
7 hCG continues to be secreted into the blood stream, and fetal development continue
8 hCG continues to be secreted into the blood stream, and fetal development continue
9 There should be enough hCG in the bloodstream to give a positive pregnancy result
